About us
The research group in Neurobiology of Pain from the Universidad de Alcalá (https://www.uah.es/es/investigacion/unidades-de-investigacion/grupos-de-investigacion/Neurobiologia-del-dolor-Neurobiology-of-pain) has been active during more than 20 years, developing numerous research projects and collaborations with pharmaceutical companies in Spain and Europe. Our work has been tipically based in the direct study of the activity produced in nociceptive (pain related) primary afferents as well as spinal neurons and circuits implicated in the transmission of nociceptive information.
The composition of the group have evolved during this period incorporating full-time staff, researchers in different stages and students doing grade and master thesis within the group.
